About Owner & Founder of Indiana Timing

2008 - Louisville IronMan Photo
The picture to the left is of me and my new born son, Isaac, crossing the finish line at the 2008 Louisville IronMan.

I started Indiana Timing to help provide small town races a more efficient and low cost timing system, along with helping the organizations putting them on by getting their respective race flyers and race details out to as many people in the running/walking community both locally around their area and around the whole state of Indiana.

My favorite hobby is running and I have completed 9 marathons and 13 mini marathons, along with competing in Cross Country and Track during my high school days, while just running road races during my college years, and have raced in or around 200 road races so far in my life.  My motivation is to use my experience in races to help your small town race grow in participation and also keep those runners and walkers coming back every year to enjoy your event.

What's my biggest athletic achievement?
I would have to say completing my IronMan and doing 2 Half IronMans on back to back weekends in training for my IronMan.
An IronMan is a 2.4 mile Swim / 112 mile Bike / 26.2 mile Run (all completed at one time and in that order).

7/12/08 - Muncie Endurathon (Half IronMan) in 5 hrs., 25 min., 36 sec.
7/20/08 - Spirit of Racine (Half IronMan) in 5 hrs., 4 min., 30 sec.
8/31/08 - Louisville IronMan 13 hrs., 49 min., 51 sec.
I am sure my running friends will enjoy this as I am going to list my fastest times for many different distances.
